Item description: An oval-shaped etching depicts a scene of the Madonna and Child. The Virgin Mary, centrally positioned, presented in a draped robe, with an aureole of radiating light around her head. She gazes serenely ahead. A small baby Jesus lies on a bed of straw, cradled within her arms. Several winged figures resembling angels are surrounding and above the central scene, contributing to the composition.
