Item description: Selbstportrait als Betriebspsychiaterin, which translates to "Self-portrait as a working psychiatrist" is influenced by the styles and rituals of embroidery - a nod to a craft that is traditionally seen as domestic, feminine, and of rural Austria. Dengler also sources designs and patterns from Austrian architecture and commercial spaces to create unique ornamental shapes and patterns.
