Ancizar Marin has been a sculptor his whole life since his humble beginnings in Colombia in 1968. Marin was enrolled in The Fine Arts Institute in Manizales, Colombia, in 1982. He went on to study sculpture at the Luccio Petraglia School of Art in Bogota, Colombia, specializing in bronze and steel. He works in chrome, volcanic rock, wood, resin, and fiberglass.
