  • Artist: Eli Cecil (Salisbury, MD)

Born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Eli Cecil first discovered his passion for glass while studying at Salisbury University, where an introductory course in glass blowing quickly became a lifelong pursuit. Drawn to the balance of fire, motion, and precision, he devoted himself to mastering the art of shaping molten glass into expressive forms that reflect the balance between humanity and nature.



After graduating, Eli relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida, where he deepened his craft within a thriving community of contemporary glass artists. During this time, he collaborated with renowned Italian glass artist Fabiano, whose mentorship refined Eli’s technique and broadened his creative perspective. Together, they explored the fusion of traditional Venetian craftsmanship with modern design sensibilities.



Now back home in Salisbury, Maryland, Eli has opened Glass Half Full, his own glass studio and gallery dedicated to creativity, collaboration, and community engagement. The studio serves as both a workspace and an educational hub—offering glass blowing classes, demonstrations, and exhibitions that bring people closer to the art and science of glass.
