This unglazed ceramic sculpture is from artist Kathleen Flaherty. This work is sculpted so a female form is brought to life, sitting on the ground with her legs bent to the left side and her left arm, which is bent behind her, touches her left foot. There are no concrete facial features as the body is roughly sculpted in texture. The right arm appears broken at the elbow. The jagged surface of this sculpture makes for an interesting composition.
