MessageThis tiny bowl was made by artist Nancee Meeker. This bowl was wheel thrown and wood fired. Before firing, a geometric design was etched across the surface of the bowl. Instead of using glaze, the artist used a method called terra sigllata, also known as using a refined layer of slip to created a polished look. The bowl contains a small base which is inscribed with the artist's last name.
