A single daffodil is shown in profile, its bloom and stem reaching gently upward. Created during a spring in Japan, this study reflects a period of adjustment, culture shock, and self-reflection. Drawing became a way to pause and process amidst the busyness of life abroad. The flower’s quiet resilience mirrors the act of seeking light and grounding during times of change, capturing a moment of stillness and hope within transition.
