Angie’s Rose
She glows bright,
As if from a fire light.
Her fragrance surrounds me in a gentle breeze.

A little 13x13 watercolor painted on Saunders Rough press. This is the first time I have experienced this paper. And what a beautiful experience.
In this piece one of the things that I find so exciting is how the paint was absorbed. Because of all the hills and valleys in this rough paper – one can truly see them.
