From my Genesis series, this abstract piece was made while I listened to Genesis chapters 5-10, which was about Noah. "人" is the Chinese character for “person” or “human.” It looks like a person walking (where are his arms, my 5 year old asks). Three of these characters stacked together makes 众, the Chinese character for a “crowd.” What looks like waves in the flood are actually numerous Chinese symbols for "person." People drowning in the flood.
