I am a New York City-based watercolor artist. In my work, I explore the beauty of landscapes inspired by the places in which I have lived. What fascinates me about painting landscapes is the creation of a sense of space - capturing depth, airiness, light and shadows. I also learn a great deal by drawing and painting copies of select Old Masters’ Paintings - these are notable works that have stood out over centuries, originally created by the trendsetters in the history of art.
I have studied with the award-winning American watercolor artist Frederick Brosen. Additionally, I have also attended art classes and workshops at the Art Students’ League of New York.
I am a member of the Art Students’ League of New York, the Salmagundi Club of New York, the American Watercolor Society, and the American Artists Professional League.
