"WUNDER" is a figurative painting that portrays a Black woman whose face remains hidden behind a lush burst of tropical and exotic flora. In this evocative artwork, she is depicted in the process of blooming into her authentic self, discovering her purpose and identity, irrespective of external perceptions.

This painting draws parallels to "Alice in Wonderland," where Alice enters the Garden of Singing Flowers and is initially mistaken for a flower herself. However, as the flowers' narrow perspectives take over, they misjudge her as a weed, leading to her expulsion. The piece, through Alicia (representing Alice), wears a floral crown adorned with each flower from the singing garden.

Despite society's misunderstandings and misconceptions, Alicia remains steadfast in her authenticity and self-discovery. "WUNDER" serves as a poignant reminder that remaining true to oneself is a powerful act, even in the face of societal misjudgment and external pressures.
