Tanya Atanasova

Tanya Atanasova is a contemporary figurative realist painter, based in Antwerp, Belgium. She's currently working on a large series of non-traditional portraits.
Message
In 2019 "Lou" was selected for ADORN ME - an exclusive, online show and publication of PoetsArtists (USA), curated by Carol Hodes (South Africa).
Later in 2019 it was selected by Luk Lemmens (president of Prospekta vzw and a deputy of the province of Antwerp) for Ongezien #4 - national competition at Port of Antwerp building - Antwerp, Belgium.
In 2020 it was awarded the First prize at Boynes Emerging Artist Award.
It was also part of Tanya's solo shows "You My Dear"(2019) Edegem, "Echte Mensen" - Zoersel and "Homo Sum" in Lier Belgium - 2021 and several publications.
