Message
This is a portrait of Belgian dancer Sooraj Subramaniam performing at Seeta Patel’s take on Rite Of Spring. In her adaptation, the music of Stravinsky, meets Indian classical dance and serves a cultural exchange, which matches Tanya's personal idea of Sooraj's story – travelling, living & working on so many different places in the world…
"Sooraj" debuted at Tanya's solo show "You my dear" at Huis Hellemans, Edegem (Belgium, 2019) and was also part of "Echte Mensen" and "Homo Sum" shows in 2021.
