Sisterhood is about the ability we have as women to support one another. The woman on the right is currently experiencing a period of light in her life. She is absorbing the blessings and goodness of God. The women on the left is currently in a period shadow and feeling disconnected from that goodness. The women on the right can channel that goodness and light to the women on the left, thereby uplifting them both. The women on the left won’t always be in shadow and the women on the right will one day need her strength. It is an open conduit of love and support.
The intricately patterned robe they share represents all the individual experiences, trials, blessings, and “life” that they have, seamlessly flowing together into shared moments. We each have our individual experiences that can then be used to love and support those in need of our wisdom. We also need that same wisdom from others. All blending together into one beautiful whole, as all things (good and bad) are made beautiful through Christ.
The gold halo around their heads is representative of the holiness found in those sacred moments, when we lend our strength and love to one another.
