A teapot that won’t hold tea...but it strains, in relation to tea. It strains, in relation to fences on the farm. Aside from constructing fences, my dad made rings with this ‘ringlock’ wire and rabbit netting and filled them with lots of small rocks. These gabion–like ‘strainer posts’ were built on sheet rock where they couldn’t dig post holes to hold the fence up with. Now 50 years later they are still standing strong, sentinels planted firmly on the landscape.
