takes its inspiration from the iconic Karri Stags left by the settlers of the ill fated group settlement scheme. Essentially the ringbarked tree has finally fallen years later. Visually it plays with the vertical lines of the forest, as you round the corner the tree is across the walk trail falling towards you, it is threatening, but transparent at the same time, a ghostly tree, a memory of the struggle from days gone by.
