Statement

My artistic practice is rooted in the deep connection between natural cycles and the human emotional landscape, exploring themes of grief, transformation, and renewal. My paintings are developed through a dynamic process of layering, which involves mark-making, revealing, and obscuring. This continuous building and un-building of the canvas allows each piece to accumulate a textured history that mirrors the expression of emotion.
