A free spirit, I enjoy teaching kids and adults how to find themselves creating art. Once when my father was napping on the couch (mom was at prayer meeting) I found some red lipstick. Oh, my.... what a wonderful time I had drawing on myself, the wall, and paper Shhh...didn't draw on my dad, he was sleeping! So art has always been a wonderful outlet for me. When I lost my leg due to bone cancer at age 8 my parents encouraged me to draw. I have been blessed teaching Navajo kids in Arizona. Chautauqua Institute, NY, is where I teach doctors, lawyers, architects, and people from all over the world! The people I meet are amazing artists waiting to be found!
We live in a chaotic world. If I can be a light by sharing and encouraging people through art, a wonderful gift from God, then I have accomplished one of my goals. This is why I work in several mediums, variety is the spice of LIFE!
