My paintings are simultaneous explorations of what I see, where I’ve been and how I want to feel. Like me, they are multilayered, complex and full of surprises.
MessageIn Wheelwork, bold circles and partial curves take centre stage, their edges revealing both strength and softness. As with quilting’s circular patterns, the forms suggest cycles and continuity, but here they are intentionally fractured and reimagined. Painted fragments on birch panel hold together in unexpected ways, offering balance through assembly rather than symmetry—an invitation to those who are drawn to the quiet strength of circles and the resilience of fragments brought together.
Displayed alongside Wedding Rings, the dialogue between them becomes even richer, their rounded forms echoing and amplifying one another.
