My paintings are simultaneous explorations of what I see, where I’ve been and how I want to feel. Like me, they are multilayered, complex and full of surprises.
MessageWedding Rings presents circles and arcs that anchor the composition with quiet clarity. Cut and reassembled from painted papers, these rounded forms recall quilting traditions where rings symbolize connection, yet here they appear cropped and imperfect—fragments of a larger whole. The work honours the act of piecing together, suggesting that harmony can emerge even when patterns are incomplete, offering a sense of beauty for those who value the poetry of traditions reimagined in new forms.
This piece makes a natural companion to Wheelwork, the two speaking quietly to one another through shared curves and layered histories.
