Mostly Known for my lion paintings, I painted my first Lion back in 2017, he was the first image that arrived when I was exploring this new medium. Little did I know that was just the beginning of a 7 year journey back to myself. My art from this very point started to create me and my experiences in life and took me on a ride that I had no idea that I was on until now. Looking back the lion chose me and I followed the footsteps down the yellow brick road for miles until I faced, accepted and conquered my inner demons. A human journey back home to the heart. A lion, a spiritual symbol that encourages us to step into our own leadership potential, to embrace our unique qualities, and to inspire and guide others with integrity and compassion. I had no idea I was on the 7 year cycle, a whirlwind of personal growth and change as I slowly emerged into my own unique self. A time not for the faintest of hearts. A time of uncertainty, battling identity issue all while trying to pursuing my passion. The Lion was my guide never leaving my side, I ironically ended up painting 7 lions along the way, each one leading me to a different experience, opening my eyes to connection beyond the physical plane. The eighth lion is the one I just competed a symbol of completion. A time to honor what has been and find new form for the future.
