Dear Mrs. Godwin by Suzanne Reed Fine, Image 1.
“Dear Mrs. Godwin” 30”x22” Acrylic on paper “Dear Mrs. Godwin” represents of the older women I knew as a child, who looked out for others, fed the neighbors cat, made their own home brew beer before it was a thing, did typing for the lawyers in town, took in ironing to do while watching soap operas, baked home made bread or home made tortillas. They were the keeper of the stories, the keeper of secrets and defenders of justice before we knew about superheroes. What would I tell them now about how life turned out?
