Australian painter and illustrator, living beside the sea surrounded by nature. Working mainly in acrylic on canvas, soft pastel on board, and graphite pencil.
One Sydney morning, photographer James Adams was intrigued by the reflections and shadows of his morning coffee. I, in turn was captivated by his soft-focus photograph of it, and asked if I could have a go at painting it. This pastel artwork is the rich and fuzzy result. I get much pleasure from gazing at this piece...the blurry highlights and strong purple shadows are like candy for my eyes.
