One of my favourite coastal bush tracks leading to an isolated beach near my home. I felt inspired to paint this scene because of the way the early sunlight cast such gorgeous long shadows of twisted trees on dewy grass. Evocative of a children's book illustration...one almost expects to see Red Riding Hood, or maybe a Gruffalo?
