We were lucky enough to spend a few days at O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat recently. This painting was inspired after a walk through the rainforest where we saw several of these Eastern Yellow Robins. They were quite friendly and inquisitive, suddenly appearing nearby, perched precariously from a branch or vine. It felt quite magical to be so close.
