I try to encourage emotions in my art through the choices of colour, texture and movement. In this painting, I hoped to create a feeling of wonder in the interconnectedness found in nature. I have intentionally chosen native florals with their organic tones and I have painted them interweaving, relying on each other for support. The wren relies on the entangled florals for safe cover. A magical relationship occurs.
