Statement
As an artist, my work delves into children's and adolescents' rich and complex inner worlds, exploring themes of imagination, introspection, and self-discovery. I strive to capture the emotional depth and quiet resilience of youth, drawing inspiration from the universal experiences of growing up and the unique beauty of nature. My sculptures, such as Foxy Dreamer and Tangled in Thought, reflect these ideas through carefully crafted poses, intricate details, and symbolic elements that invite viewers to connect with the untamed spirit of childhood and the introspective journeys of self-expression.
My multicultural experiences greatly inform my perspective, weaving subtle layers of identity and storytelling into each piece. Whether through playful costumes or contemplative expressions, my work celebrates individuality and the delicate balance between strength and vulnerability, offering a lens into moments that define us while inspiring others to reflect on their own narratives.
