Climate change, to many, is an abstract threat.

My project imagines the tangible consequences of changing ecosystems.
I want to portray an ecosystem as it grows and falls apart--to see ourselves in it. What species are most at risk and why? Will some plants thrive too early, and others die off? How will this happen? What are the effects on other species? On us? Adhered to three walls, the artwork will form a gothic cycle where parts of the planetary ecosystem look robust and healthy on one wall but progressively erodes around the room. The process and we will be reflected in the mirrored floor. I'll present a kind of Monet's garden for a changing world.

Grateful thanks to the Puffin Foundation for their support of this project.
