My original abstractions are unique layered compositions that evolve from my interest in the inner landscape that is enriched by my outer world. They are explorations inspired by a fascination since childhood, with paper, calligraphy, overlays, letter forms and manuscripts. Translucency allows some layers to be revealed and altered by subsequent layers, a metaphor for the passage of time.
