This piece was created by layering collage papers (that I create myself) over a background covered with words written in graphite. Continued layering and painting are worked until the composition and effects are what I am seeking.
Part of the "Moods in Time" series, created during the pandemic. Each of us experiences these moods in the cycle of our days and our weeks. At times, we struggle to find our way forward. I seek the joy in every day, even when it is a challenge, a mood reflected in this piece.
