"1360 Willis Street" -- 11" x 14" -- Oil
The "Willis Street Collection", as we dubbed the paintings done on this old residential street in Redding, CA, was the first one-person show I had in the late 1980's (I think it was then). One of my favorite pieces, "1360 Willis Street" shows the joy of sunshine and roses around the crisp white of this cottage. I noticed yesterday that it still looks the same, but the roses have yet to bloom this spring.
