Combining many iconic symbols: fire, moon, community or tribe, nature, and sacred architecture, this piece is a blend of the imagery of a forest, cathedral and community bonfire. The initial black line work was rendered with india ink on canvas, then watercolor was added and finally 3 coats of cold wax were applied to preserve the work. This piece is 30" x 40" and is framed in a black wood frame.
