From an original photograph in a studio setup, 1984. The subject, on set, was being filmed by a single channel video recorder with a direct link to a CRT monitor. The camera directly photographed the image that appeared in real-time on the monitor as the subject performed in front of the video recorder. No actual video recording was ever made.

This series comprises my solo exhibition at the Studio One public gallery in February 2024. This exhibition explores the interplay between inner psyche and external projection - investigating the fine and mysterious balance between unity and exclusion, acceptance and discrimination.
