"Thoughtful" is oil painting on Canvas. It is part of a larger project called Finding Jean. This piece was displayed at the Maryhill Museum of Art representing Pacific Northwest Artists in 2017. Finding Jean is a project I worked on in 2017 and is based on a book I wrote.

My name is Stevie Woods and I live and create art in Forest Grove, Oregon. Being an artist is a beautiful experience that takes dedication to a craft. I am a maker. I work predominantly in the area of oil painting, specifically portraiture. However, I am also known for my work in Mixed Media, Drawing, Illustration and of course Murals. Basically, if the media inspires me, I uses it, I try not to limit myself. I completed my Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in 2017. I have taught art for 22 years. I am a full time painter. I am also a Professor of Drawing and Painting at Pacific University. I also am the Gallery Coordinator at the Cawein Gallery in Forest Grove.
