Based on a photo I took of my youngest daughter, “Cool Down" depicts her walking along a nature trail in late summer during the pandemic. That day, I was inspired by the dappled sunlight and the self-determination she demonstrated by constantly walking ahead of me.

Recently, Cool Down was exhibited at the Muskegon Museum of Art in the 93rd Michigan Contemporary Art Exhibition.
