A lovely scene looking down on the curve of Knoll Beach from Middle Beach. I often mix my paint directly on the canvas as I like the immediacy and process. There is movement and atmosphere. The colours are melting and almost flying.

One of the new acrylic paintings created en plein air. I have loved painting these energetic and colourful canvases. They are enlivened by the wonderful location and often incorporate sand from the beach.

The sides have a deep edge which is painted in a suitable colour.
