Statement
“Growing up in New Mexico, near where my relatives cultivate wheat, barley, and cattle, I developed a deep-rooted connection to the land that has shaped my artistic journey. It was here my artistic point of view ignited at the age of five, inspired by an encounter involving Old Spice and swarm of bees—let’s just say, my father wasn’t quite prepared for the attack when he held me and ran! That incident led to a teacher’s encouraging words, igniting my passion for storytelling through art."
