Statement
My work investigates how materials hold memory and emotion, particularly within the context of cultural heritage and personal identity. I approach glass, textiles, mosaics, ceramics, and photography as languages of preservation—each medium carrying its own rhythm, fragility, and resilience. By combining traditional craft with experimental methods, I seek to uncover the silent histories embedded in materials and how they mirror the complexities of generational trauma and healing.
I am deeply influenced by the tactile processes of making and the historical legacies behind craft traditions. These methods allow me to question how preservation and transformation coexist—how something can be mended yet remain changed. My practice continues to evolve at the intersection of art, history, and conservation, where creation becomes both an act of remembrance and renewal.
