Confluence
Irish Beach Pebbles
“Confluence” is a beautifully balanced sculpture where two sets of stones face one another, standing tall on pebbles like two beings in conversation or animals in quiet communion. The natural curves and forms of the stones evoke the subtle language of connection, as if captured in mid-dialogue. Each piece stands independently, yet they feel incomplete without their counterpart, symbolising the harmony of relationships and the unspoken bonds between nature, people, or creatures.
The simplicity of the materials—pebbles and stones—connects us to the earth, while the arrangement speaks of the intricate, primal dialogues that have shaped human and animal interactions since ancient times.
This piece invites contemplation on the balance between strength and vulnerability in connection, communication, and unity.
