Celestial Ring of Amber
Agate, jasper, quartz, mixed pebbles, gold guilt, resin base
22 × 15 × 15 cm
This sculpture celebrates the elegance and rarity of the unbroken ring. Rising from a luminous gold-leafed base, the circular form appears weightless yet strong, as if drawn by an unseen celestial force. The stones that form the ring are rich in warm earthy colours — amber, honey, russet and pale sand — each one shaped smooth by time, carrying the memory of riverbeds and ancient shores. Together they create a glowing orbit that speaks of resilience and the harmonious cycles of nature. The piece honours the balance between fragility and strength, between earthly origins and the wonder of the skies.
Stone map:
• The base is layered in gold, suggesting the radiant energy of the sun.
• The ring is composed of agates, jaspers and quartz in shades of amber, ochre and warm grey.
• Fossil-patterned stones reveal traces of long-vanished marine life.
• Honey-amber and golden-brown stones evoke warmth and resilience.
• Pale sand-coloured stones soften the ring’s arc, echoing moonlight on water.
