Made as a study for larger piece, 'III - Field Radiance', a part of the Chromatic Woodland series.

Chromatic Woodland explores the shifting energy of woodland landscapes through colour, light, and layered texture. Inspired by specific places, these panoramic felt works evolve into atmospheric interpretations where deep blues and burnished golds move through trees, earth, and sky. Fine threads travel across the surface like currents of light or hidden roots, suggesting unseen connections within the landscape. Each piece reflects a sensory response to being within the woodland—where memory, colour, and atmosphere converge.
