Steph Blondet is a Puerto Rican fine artist based in Tampa, FL, known for her colorful ice cream sculptures that blend joy, nostalgia, and playful sophistication. Her work brings a whimsical twist to contemporary art, using sculptural forms and vibrant color to elevate spaces and invite conversation. Each piece offers a fun yet refined experience, transforming everyday interiors into spaces that feel both dynamic and intentionally designed.

Blondet began her artistic journey after a health scare in 2021, using creativity as a form of healing and self-expression. Following the loss of her soul dog two years later, she launched her professional art career, embracing her voice through a commitment to creating lively, textured paintings that spark joy. Her art is a celebration of color, nostalgia, and playful elegance—infused with the intention to uplift and connect.

She grew up taking private art classes and obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, her Associate of Arts from EDP College, and her Master of Science in Digital Marketing from Full Sail University. Upon graduating, she moved to Washington, DC, in 2013 to pursue a career in web development and design. During this time, she sold to private collectors in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. In 2019, she relocated to the Tampa Bay area to be closer to family and enjoy the warm weather.

Statement

I create colorful ice cream sculptures and sculptural paintings that celebrate nostalgia, joy, and playful sophistication. Inspired by sweet memories and the simple moments that bring people together, I use color, texture, and form to transform interiors into uplifting, meaningful spaces.

Each piece is guided by intuition, rhythm, and a deep desire to evoke joy. I hand-sculpt and arrange each element with care, allowing curves, swirls, and textures to take on lives of their own. The tactile surfaces and dynamic forms invite interaction, reflection, and excitement, while also exploring the emotional layers beneath joyful moments.

Though my work is rooted in personal experience, it speaks to something universal: the power of beauty, play, and memory to uplift and connect us. Through my art, I aim to create spaces that feel both expressive and refined—where sweetness is more than a theme, it’s a feeling.
