Paul Laster, Little Pleasures, 1989, mixed media on paper, 21 x 14 inches, Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, Executive Suite at 700 Welch. Donated by the Mary Patricia Pence Revocable Trust. Paul Laster layers colored tape transparencies over modernist photographs to create layers of meaning. The original image is by Henri Cartier-Bresson, and the title is from Wassily Kandinsky.
