Augustine (Gus) Dall'Ava is the father of Jade Dall'Ava (OM1995) and Sophia Dall'Ava (OM1997). In March 1995, he contacted Mr. ARC Hewison (Headmaster) and offered to donate one of his sculptures to the school. Mr. Hewison and Ms. Robyn McCutchan (Head of Arts Faculty) subsequently visited the artist's studio at 80 John Street, East Brunswick, and selected this piece from the works which were for sale at the studio at the time.
