ABOUT THIS PRINT
Washingtonian Palm is native to Mexico but often found planted in Florida, thanks to its tall, stately appearance. Five unique impressions were printed as monoprints. See also SG-844, 845, 847, 848.

PROCESS DESCRIPTION
For each impression, two woodblocks were employed. One carved for black image of the palm. Second block was background color and was sometimes printed multiple times with different colors. Often overprinted on black palm image.
