ABOUT THIS PRINT
Image adopted from drawings done in the artist's mobile home trailer in Anchorage and the subsequent first print of this subject matter, Watching TV. All production work was done at the Visual Arts Center of Alaska. Beyond normal edition of 10 prints, there were aberrations in the way this edition was handled. Each of the five Artist's Proofs are unique impressions, not at all like the edition of ten prints, they should have been called mono prints; and an additional set of 20 mono prints, collectively labeled a "suite."
PROCESS DESCRIPTION
Six woodblocks, including two from Watching TV, which were altered. The top half of he image including TV with Buck Owens, is cut from gray battleship linoleum glued to plywood blocks. All inking accomplished with rollers or brayers. Production work completed in February 1976.
