Tom Sawyer was our good neighbor, seated here in living room chair. Tom sat for many drawings like this. Annotation at right edge midway down: "Chilly Pepper Club...27th" may have referred to a singing gig for Tom, who sang at some piano bars and also taught ballroom dancing, in addition to working at a building supply store.
