Portrait of Mary Elizabeth Spence Touchstone, the sister of the artist's mother. As a young child, the artist could not properly pronounce Aunt Mary Elizabeth's name, which therefore became Aunt 'Ibba'. She sat many hours for this drawing and also for a painting. The drawing is on heavy Arches watercolor paper, cold-pressed textured surface.
