Light / Darkness (Light over Darkness) explores how a single spark, glimmer, or the smallest element of light can overcome an oppressive darkness. Conceptually, the viewer moves from the stance of full darkness/chaos into full light/order then back to some version of darkness and chaos again. But as so often happens with light, once it has come into darkness, no matter how small, light still wins. So even at the conclusion of the book, small bits of light remain.

Ephemera used was curated from various publications which was then painted, cut, and collaged.
