Site-specific latex cast of a 1911 double shotgun home in New Orleans. The front porch was cast and peeled as one seamless latex skin. I chose the porch for its significance to the city and tropical climate, in addition to its intimate role as gathering place to converse, tell stories, read, and gossip. A physical imprint of the community.
